The Dawn Quranic
Institute integrates the two methods, where the rules and theory content are
presented by the teacher and practiced by the student through various examples,
then the student recites from the Mus’haf while the teacher listens and
corrects him. The mechanism of applying such method takes into consideration
the level and age group of the student. The figure “The Dawn Learning Process” shows a diagram which
presents our learning process components. These components are; the student,
the teacher, the curriculum and the tools.
T
he
teacher utilises our curriculum and tools to facilitate the student to reach
the learning outcomes. The curriculum refers to the content of a specific
course or program, while the tools refer to the facilities utilised to support
the students to understand the content. These facilities can be technology
based or tangible visual based. Curriculum and tools are also utilised by the
students in their learning process.
